Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment and Care Planning:** Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial evaluations. Develop personalized care plans based on findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based guidelines.

2. Medication Administration and Treatment:** Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and therapeutic effects. Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and self-care.

3. Clinical Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, progress notes, and care plans. Document patient responses to treatments and changes in condition, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Collaborative Care Coordination:** Work with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.

5. Patient and Family Education:** Provide education on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies. Empower patients and address their concerns with empathy and compassion.

6. Quality Improvement Initiatives:** Participate in initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license in Maryland.

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an RN.

- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required depending on specialty).

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules.
