Scheduling Coordinator

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our catering staffing division. This hands-on position requires a self-driven individual with a passion for recruitment and staff management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the staffing process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source, track, and communicate with candidates.
• Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
• Assist with talent management initiatives, including employee development and succession planning.
• Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
• Assist with scheduling and confirming staff for events, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
• Filter and relay information from clients to staff regarding day-to-day needs and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Staffing Coordinator or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HR sourcing strategies and talent management practices.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Strong interviewing skills to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Flexibility to commute between DC and VA.
• Schedule flexibility is a must.
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Pay range and compensation package:

$20- $22
